A Program Report on ‘PRAYAS’, Himachal Pradesh (SC3764)

The concept of workshops and fairs with children in Math and Science was first piloted in selected schools of the Solan district in March-April 2015. During the same year, this model was implemented in Bilaspur with certain modifications under the name ‘Prayas’. After the successful implementation and considerable improvement in learning levels of children in Bilaspur, the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh scaled up this initiative to the state level in 2016-17 benefitting 2.4 Lakh children across the state
