A Bowl of Stars | Constructivism in Maharashtra – The Kumathe Story (SC7205)

Kumathe beat is a cluster in Satara district in Maharashtra where learning outcomes are cent percent for all 40 ZP schools. Adopting the constructivism approach, the schools have modified their classroom interactions. It has demonstrateed that each child is capable of learning, the pace may differ. Kumathe has become a learning site for rest of schools in Maharashtra who are adopting this approach in their schools. As a result, Maharashtra has been able to improve learning outcomes by 10% in one year span.
