GIS & Access – Tamil Nadu (SC7256)
SSA Tamil Nadu has been maintaining the GIS Database since the year 2012-13. But the development made during the years 2015-16 & 2016-17 has brought a milestone achievement for SSA. Now, GIS Mapping has been made Web-centric and user friendly for both the department and the public respectively. This has been developed based on the neighborhood norms as envisaged in Tamil Nadu Right of children to free and compulsory Education rules, 2011.
