R.Soniya
I am R.Soniya from Chinnamayakulam, Aruppukottai Virudhunagar District. My Parents Mr.Rasaiya and Mrs. Panchavarnam are coolies. My father is a drunkard and often quarrelled with my mother. Unfortunately my mother fell sick and lost her life after six months. There was no one to look after me . I could not continue my studies. So I became a drop out in V Standard in the year 2014. I had been out of school for 2 years. I became helpless about my future. At that time I was identified as a drop out by the Block Resource Teacher Educators during the survey in 2017 and was admitted in VIII standard in this current academic year in the RSTC. There I was fulfilled with my basic needs and I got many friends to accompany me. I got good moral support from the teachers there. Apart from my studies, I excelled myself in painting and dancing. Many appreciated my artistic skill. Now I am fully confident enough to shine in the future world. The government schemes helped me a lot and I am thankful to one and all who showed me a bright and colourful future.
