FEEDBACK ON MATHEMATICS KITS My name is Rutij Pandharinath Katale. I studied in standard 4th I like mathematics very much. Our class teacher Shri. Channole sir teaches very good. This year we got a new experience. Sir took mathematics training, then our class also got a mathematics study kits. Till now, we use to solve sums on our notebooks. We were getting bored while solving it again and again on notebook. Therefore the material in the kit is like a treasure for us, Sir started to teach us with the help of that material, Introduction of zero, unit place, addition, subtraction etc. We enjoyed solving the problems, What is mean by division? We understood this concept with the help of currency notes. Many methods are use to learn mathematics. Story method helped us to understand words problems. I, no more afraid of these problems. Now, I am very confident to solve mathematical problem. Thank you sir. (RUTIJ PANDHARINATH KATALE) 4TH CLASS ZILA PARISHAD PRIMARY SCHOOL, TAKALKARWADI BLOCK KHED, DISTRICT PUNE.

Mohsin Yusuf Shaikh ( SSAV10318 )
Mohsin was studying in Class II in Zilla Parishad Primary School, in Gangapur from in Latur district, when his parents decided to migrate to Hyderabad for livelihood. New academic year started but Mohsin was still not there. School teacher Sangeeta Pawar got worried that he might drop out, and contacted his mother on phone. His mother said that he was enrolled in a local English medium school in Hyderabad, and they have no plan to return. Sangeeta Pawar is a very sensitive teacher, who knows how to connect with her students. She has a emotional bond with each of his student. When she spoke with Mohsin on phone, she said that they all miss him a lot. ‘Why don’t you come back?’ She asked. Talking with his dear teacher, Mohsin broke out. He didn’t like his new school, he was hardly able to adjust there. He had his friends in Gangapur school, and teachers who encouraged him in every possible way. After talking to his teacher Mohsin strongly felt that he should be re-enrolled in his old school. When parents were unwilling he cried and made them understand where he really want to go. Finally parents had to accept his wish and brought him back to his old school. Now he happily studies in his favourite school. “Earlier I felt that I can engage children by using innovative learning methods, but now I realise understanding the child is fundamental, and comes first. Then I changed my approach and became more friendly with my small students,” said Sangeeta Pawar who closely relates with all her students.
