Kumari E.Laxmi Prasanna
Kumari E.Laxmi Prasanna, D/o-Venkanna & Padma was born in a poor family on 14th September-2000. She was born as a Cerebral Palsy & Mentally Retorted (Mild) child associated with speech and nerves problem as a result she could not move. Stuck on to a wheel chair, she never lost her self confidence and started her schooling at NRSTC in class 2nd with the support of her parents. There, she was trained in routine functioning skills of daily activities.
Later she identified by B.Srinivas, a teacher of IERP Chityala (M), Nalgonda (D). She joined at ZPHS Chityala with the support of IERP. Despite of her disability of mobility. She was denied to be given the admission into the Class-VI, which is on first floor. However, She managed to get the admission and got shifted the class to the ground floor by pleading the Head Master. She started to learn from her wheel chair with lot of determination and dedication.
She is doing her best and coping with normal children in her class. She is also competing with others in many aspects. She became an inspiration to others by securing “A” grade in academics and creative writings of songs and composing tunes on her own. Recently, she sang her own song on World Disability Day with a lot of emotion that touched the hearts of every one.
