Akula Vijaya Lakshmi
My name is A. Vijaya Lakshmi. My father’s name is Srinivasarao and my mother’s name is Padma. I have a brother. After my brother’s marriage my parents died because of HIV. Since then my brother neglected me and sent to work as daily laborer. He never supported or encouraged for my studies.
My uncle admitted me in vasavya mahila mandali recognized and supported by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan situated at Benz circle, Vijayawada. Doctors confirmed me as HIV positive. Since then I also was using medicines. I joined MPP school at Kothurutadepalli-near the hostel.
I am attending the school regularly. Now I am studying 9th class in KSRZP Girls High school in Patamatalanka, Vijayawada. I actively participate in all the activities being conducted in the school. My goal is to become a Teacher. I am sure that a teacher can only change and mould the children in a positive direction.
